Back to basics

What a lovey place to stay! We stayed in a wigwam for the first time and we were impressed, kitted out with fridge, microwave, tea and coffee facilities, showers just a stone throw away - and they were hot and clean! Quiet and peaceful, staff were helpful and friendly, we would stay again, thank you! We stayed at Lee Valley!

Amazing experience

We had this gift given to us by a relative. We upgraded to a safari tent. I was so impressed with the facilities provided. The cleanliness of the tent. The beds were comfortable. The toilet block was very clean as were the showers too. Showers could do with a bit of an upgrade as the shower I used did not supply much water bit overall a brilliant experience and shall definitely rebook.

A bit of a surprise

I always thought glamping was supposed to be glamour camping. So I was quite surprised to find a “sofa” bed that was foam with a waterproof cover and bits of hardboard and a coffee table to convert to an incredibly uncomfortable bed. When we said we should have brought our air bed, we realised we’d have been better off with our normal camping set up

Great gift but unfortunately booked a poor location

Lee Valley park is OK. Not an excellent location. It's not built to handle flooding so the grass area was so flooded geese were swimming in it ! The place also looks a little messy. The country walk was nice but stopped being nice as the canal runs along a waste management plant. The idea is nice but we picked a poor location. Travel further if you can.
