About the experience
Experience the thrill of flight and soar above the Angel of the North, as you weave through the air above the vast city of Newcastle, the renowned River Tyne and St James Park, or gain a unique view of Arthur’s Seat and the vibrant bustle of Princes Street in Edinburgh. Choose between 18 famous British cities and take to the skies in a Bell 206 JetRanger and receive a detailed safety briefing before jumping on board.
What do I need to know?
- Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
- Available on selected weekends from March – October
- Please allow up to 30 minutes for the whole experience, with 15 minutes of flying time
- Maximum total weight: 30st/190kg
- Minimum age: 6 years
- All participants under the age of 12 years must be accompanied by a paying adult
- Please bring your boarding passes and Photo ID on the day
- A Bell 206 JetRanger Helicopter will be used for this experience
- Please consult a doctor regarding any medical conditions
- The supplier reserves the right to refuse or remove any passengers from the flight if their behaviour is deemed unsafe or inappropriate

80th. Birthday present.
This was my first helicopter trip and it did not disappoint. The pilot was very knowledgeable and professional as were the ground crew. a very enjoyable flight over the Edinburgh and the three Forth bridges.

Felt ripped off
Bought a £69 trip for 2 so by my reckoning that’s £138 for £300 then asked for another £160 upgrade to go from a more local airstrip than offered for a short trip around the Medway estuary OUTRAGOUSE!

Poor service
The company failed to keep us informed on line, as promised, as to when booking date would open. We therefore had little choice of available dates. The flight was cancelled through no fault of the operator but their on line support, the only wau they could be contacted, was very poor. The actual experience however was well handled on the day.
Adventure001 was appalling for admin and on that basis I would not use them again and therefore nor Red Letter Day
