About the experience
Experience the thrill of flight and soar above the Angel of the North, as you weave through the air above the vast city of Newcastle, the renowned River Tyne and St James Park, or gain a unique view of Arthur’s Seat and the vibrant bustle of Princes Street in Edinburgh. How about the Albert Dock in Liverpool or the historic city of Glasgow? The choice is all yours! Choose between 18 famous British cities and take to the skies in a Bell 206 JetRanger and receive a detailed safety briefing before jumping on board.
What do I need to know?
- Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
- Available on selected weekends from March – October
- Please allow up to 30 minutes for the whole experience, with 15 minutes of flying time
- Maximum total weight: 30st/190kg
- Minimum age: 6 years
- All participants under the age of 12 years must be accompanied by a paying adult
- Please bring your boarding passes and Photo ID on the day
- A Bell 206 JetRanger Helicopter will be used for this experience
- Please consult a doctor regarding any medical conditions
- The supplier reserves the right to refuse or remove any passengers from the flight if their behaviour is deemed unsafe or inappropriate

Fabulous experience for a bird lover
This was bought for me as a birthday gift. We had to travel quite a distance to reach the venue but it was really, really worth it. The adult accompanying the birds was super friendly and informative and made sure that everyone was well-prepared. We learned so much about the birds and got to wear the gauntlet to handle them, so there were some brilliant photos to remember the day too. It felt so special to be up close to these amazing creatures. My day with the birds was a good while back now but I still ahve the best memories!

A glorious sunny day and a day I will always remember. Every one - the receptionists , clubhouse staff and my pilot were positive and welcoming of me- in my 60s and didn’t know what to expect. A special mention to Barbara, my pilot. Her open and obvious love of flying and utter professionalism made the flight itself a thrilling moment. My son loved his first flight - Goodwood was great venue, and Plessey/Aerovolt flying club v welcoming. Stephen was a great instructor. Would highly recommend for first flying experience and lessons.
