The kitchen garden tour was just for the 2 of us, and as keen gardeners was very informative. It was informal and unhurried, and the range of culinary plants was extraordinary. The lunch was fantastic: We were treated no differently than other guests, with courtesy but not great formality, and with the full range of menu options available to choose from. The setting was smart but comfortable, and the food superb, really a 'must visit'.

The garden tour led by a very knowledgeable young man was very interesting indeed. Lunch was delicious. Staff delivered a high standard of service. A fabulous red letter day!
