Overnight Inviting Break for Two

We stayed for a two night weekend break at South Lytchett Manor, in one of their Romany caravans. We had a lovely time. From the moment we arrived at reception the weekend experience was chilled-out, friendly and relaxing. The check-in is simple and straightforward, and the staff are extremely friendly and professional. Our Romany caravan was much longer and therefore larger than we had imagined. It was also very warm and cosy which was appreciated during our November stay. The campsite was very well organised and extremely well run. Making the whole site well presented, clean and tidy. We brought our dog with us who was welcomed and well provided for, with dog washing facilities, designated walking areas and well thought out rules and guidelines. We definitely recommend this campsite, and will be returning.

Lovely evening, didn’t spend a lot of time in the hotel, we arrived at 3pm went straight out for a walk, drinks and food, then we were up at 9 and back out exploring. We had 2 dogs with us so weren’t given the nicest of rooms (I’m guessing) but it’s was still a lovely break and slept well.

Excellent Overnight Stay at Burnhopeside Hall

Enjoyed a great couple of days. A nice dog friendly pub, great food, lovely location.

The hotel was lovely, however they were not aware we were booked for breakfast. I showed them the red letters day confirmation email and they provided us with breakfast vouchers.

Nice room, nice view, nice breakfast and nice staff, all around very nice ??

We stayed for one night using a red letter gift. The room was adequate although we did have 2 single mattresses on a king bedframe which we kept disappearing down throughout the night. Every member of staff had a smile on their faces and looked genuinely happy which was nice. Breakfast was lovely and the lady who greeted us also offered anything else which wasn't there and she would arrange it which is an excellent touch although we were more than happy with the food and drinks available and there was plenty of it too. This place would of had 5 stars if it wasn't for the bed and the mattresses which tried to eat us thoughout the night

Friendly staff, lovely, clean room & lots of choice for breakfast. Could not fault anything. Would definately stay there again.

Good to have occasional treats like this. Hotel staff vey friendly and and tried hard to make the experience enjoyable

The Eco Pod was very comfortable and, whilst the toilets/showers were just round the corner, they were not far away (15m) and good quality, so not a problem. Cooked breakfast was good. Golf course is interesting with a mixture of some benign and some challenging holes - certainly kept us higher handicappers interested (with quite a few pars across both rounds - and we could have booked more rounds, if we had wanted across the 2 days). Good value and I think we will be back in the future.
