About the experience
Shrigley Hall Hotel is grand manor house in Cheshire that dates back to 1825. Overlooking the edge of the Peak District and sat within 262 acres of estate land, this hotel boasts a modern gym, a championship 18-hole golf course, crazy golf, historical walking trails and an elegant restaurant to keep you occupied during your stay. For two nights, your accommodation will be an elegant and modern double en suite room that comes equipped with toiletries, a TV and free Wi-Fi. Each morning after a restorative night, sleep tuck into a deliciously hearty full English breakfast to start your day.
What do I need to know?
- Your voucher is valid for two people
- Available Sunday–Friday, year round
- When available, you can upgrade to a Saturday for a supplement

- You will need to book your stay at least three days in advance, although we advise booking as early as possible due to the popularity of this venue

Very disappointing
We had booked the two night stay thinking that Shrigley Hall would offer some level of luxury. Sadly we were disappointed. This was due to the following:-
* a basic and dated room with poorly fitting windows;
* minimal heat from the bathroom towel rail;
* other clientele very rowdy (wedding party) and banging on bedroom doors - including ours - at 01:45 hrs;
* room not serviced;
* poor quality and choice for breakfast.
We will not stay here again and I hope that Red Letter Days carries out a secret inspection and possibly remove this hotel from their choices.
The voucher was a gift from my company upon my retirement.
