Such a great couple experience

My partner surprised me with this experience for my birthday! It was amazing. Firstly it was so easy to book following my voucher code. When we got there the staff were so friendly. We fed two different types of fox and the several cat. Also got to hold a skunk and python. It’s a quaint zoo and after the experience we had a stroll around the zoo . It’s ideal for kids especially those interested in dinosaurs

Helpline is not fit for purpose

RLD should invest in a human operated helpline and not robots or messaging agents ( who were poorly trained in my experience) in order that a customer can discuss issues over the telephone with a REAL HUMAN BEING

Lovely gardens and tea

On a very hot day we spent a relaxing couple of hours wandering around the lovely gardens at Barnsdale. We were able to sit in a shady spot in the garden to eat our delicious afternoon tea. It was a most enjoyable visit.

Canal cruise

Very pleasant skipper but afternoon tea was very disappointing. Very poor quality food made with the cheapest ingredients and no seasoning at all on the egg mayonnaise sandwiches. He did serve the first drinks but it was left to another passenger to serve Sangria and pretty much self service for tea and coffee. Definitely not value for money.
