40 Minute Tiger Moth Flight for One

Experience the thrill of cockpit flying in an iconic Tiger Moth biplane. Used as the primary RAF training aircraft during the Second World War, this vintage Tiger Moth flight experience will immerse participants into the world of wartime flying. Experience the initial flight briefing, aircraft checks, ground control procedures, take off and of course the flight and the landing on this amazing 40-minute flight. Add an authentic leather flying jacket, goggles and a helmet to the mix and it’s sure to be a ride of pure nostalgia! Once in the air the pilot will demonstrate the capabilities of this surprisingly manoeuvrable machine and will offer participants the chance to take the controls under their watchful supervision. This experience is once in a lifetime!

  Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website. All flights are taken by expert pilots who are experienced instructors and all aircraft have dual controls. Cameras can be used on the day and on the ground by relatives, even around the planes, but they are prohibited inside the cockpit for safety reasons. Please note that the aircraft used at the Gloucestershire location is actually a Stampe SV4c which is virtually identical to a Tiger Moth. Please book early to avoid disappointment. Due to the age of these aircraft, locations may be subject to change during the year. Spectators are welcome with 50% off the entrance fee. Please be advised this may not be suitable for persons who are pregnant, suffer from epilepsy, fits, severe head injuries, recurrent fainting, giddiness or blackouts, high blood pressure, or heart conditions. Diabetics may be required to produce a medical certificate. Disabled participants are welcome. Entry for children is free.
