Very relaxing day
Lovely staff and very helpful, had a full day of relaxation. Used the gym (small but plenty of equipment) and swimming pool (good size). Treatment was a facial and this was very relaxing. Then spent time in the relaxation room where there were plenty of hot drinks available all day. We added in lunch in the restaurant which was very good quality. The grounds looked lovely but we didn’t have time to walk around. We would definitely go again! Great value for money!

Exceedingly relaxing day
I went with a friend and we had a wonderful day. Into the sauna snd steam room followed by time relaxing by the pool…then a wonderful facial…and a relaxing chat in the lounge followed by a long lunch! The only downside was the slow inefficient service in the dining room and the overcooked chicken on my ceasar salad but I was too relaxed to allow it to spoil what was indeed a great day!

Relaxation and well-being
I was very satisfied with my spa morning at Walton Hall. I arrived early so had the sauna and pool mostly to myself. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The lady who administered my facial and hand treatment was very good. The Spa environment was relaxing too with low lighting in places and a lovely aroma. I do wish they had their own well-being cafe though. I walked across to the main hotel for coffee which was mediocre and the did not have any cakes or pastries. I wish I had stayed in the Spa and had a herbal tea.

Disappointed
Not all the facilities were available. Workmen drilling and shouting outside treatment room. Windows were mouldy and treatment room had stack of towels and cleaning equipment dumped in room. Facial in itself was enjoyable- only saving was a chance to return when pool etc was open

Not a great spa
Very basic spa, pool has only 4 loungers, and a few seats around the edge, so unable to relax. Sauna and steam room also very small.
Staff friendly overall and general surroundings of the hotel/spa are beautiful.
