Two Course Meal with Prosecco for Two at Marco Pierre White, Birmingham

Waited just over an hour before grabbing a waitress to get some service . Everyone else who were on pre paid seemed to get served 1st

Meal was lovely service wasn’t very good service charge added to bill which we didn’t pay.

we were warmly greeted shown to our table,the waiting staff were lovely,we had three wonderful courses in total with prosseco it was a lovely experience

Delicious meal, tasty cocktails fabulous time

Food was as expected, fabulous but the exceptionally poor customer service ruined the experience. From arriving right through to paying there were issues. The menu was unclear as to what was included so we asked one of the MPW staff who said you can have as many sides as you like only to come to the bill to find these were extra. We spoke to the waitress (who was helpful) who bought the restaurant front of house lady to us who was rude and accused us of lying we had been told that. We pointed out the lady who has told us and she said well she is only the drunks server you should have asked a waitress. They all wear the same uniform so we had no idea she wasn’t a waitress. We explained this and she basically said ‘tough . The manager was then bought to that table abs a further 10 minutes later explaining what had happened. He said the prices are shown on the menu but in fact there are just numbers and no £ signs and all numbers are near the calorie count so we had no idea. If they had simply explained the menu at the start there would have been no issue. The waitress told us when we were ordering our deserts ‘you are aware this isn’t part of the offer’ and we said that was fine we would still have desert abs pay’ but there was no mention that the sides were excluded etc. We eventually managed to persuade them it was their issue and they didn’t charge but it was one BIG hassle. Will not return there and very disappointed

Very nice setting views excellent. We both opted for steak but had to send it back, it was as tough as old boots, couldn't cut it let alone chew it. Then opted for the chicken, mediocre and much too large a portion. Overall quite ordinary food in a lovely restaurant
