Carnivore Keeper Experience at Dartmoor Zoo for Two

Find out what it takes to be a carnivore keeper with this keeper experience for two people at Dartmoor Zoo. You’ll get up close and personal with four different species of big cat in this intense and hands-on experience that will give you a unique insight into the life of a keeper. Learn about diets, routines, training and personalities of the four different species from the knowledgeable keepers as you get your hands dirty helping out with daily tasks like feeding. When the experience is complete, take advantage of day entry to the rest of the zoo, with a delicious slice of cake and hot drink included for the finishing touch.

  Available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 9.30am, year round, excluding Christmas Eve to Boxing Day. It is recommended that you book well in advance to avoid disappointment as places are limited. Dates are available up to six months in advance. All dates are subject to availability.

  Minimum age: 18 years. Please note, this experience is hands-on with intense, hard work, so a good level of mobility is required. This experience is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant, has a high blood pressure or is of a nervous disposition or is a wheelchair user.
