Birthday treat with friend
Loved the spa experience and the facial was really relaxing. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Really nice sized room with everything you need, large bathroom . We had a twin room, only downside was beds were very small 2 foot 6 inchs wide. My friend who is not a big lady nearly fell out of bed turning over in the night.
We bought lunch which was extra and it was delicious and good value . However the included meals not so good. The Table d ' Hote choices were very limited and my friends meal was cold. It was replaced though. The breakfast choice was very good but the hot food was actually cold. So a bit hit and miss. I would choose a spa break again bit maybe try another location

Excellent
Lovely setting and location ,excellent accommodation,very helpful and pleasant staff .Although on a “set menu” it was still a 3 course menu with several choices and very nice.Massage ,sauna and pool excellent..Lovely walks on paths around the golf course.

Everything that you could wish for
I thorougly enjoyed the experience. The pool was very large and perfect temperature. The poolside shower was out of order so was unable to shower after the sauna and steam bath. But everything else was fine. The evening meal was delicious and friendly staff. The breakfast was a little chaotic as it was so busy and some of the hot food took a while to refill. I loved the facial, so relaxing. My therapist spent time explaining what will happen and I loved it

A lovely break
Lovely country hotel in Sussex with good facilities. Very helpful and pleasant staff always make for a good stay. Room was very comfortable and spacious but could do with a fridge, perhaps. Both ensuite bath and shower which is unexpected and a pleasant change. Evening meal and breakfast excellent, although a little more choice on the evening meal would be good. Spa is a good size with great facilities and treatments were amazing. Didn't effect me, but disappointing that the gym was bring refurbished and I wasn't notified at booking. Didn't see much if outside as it mainly rained but I believe there are some good walks. Nice location and close to Uckfield and not too far from Lewes and Eastbourne.
