Good venue Makeney Hotel excellent cast from Murder 57od of a high quality
The venue was good friendly staff,food was good ,the atmosphere was of a friendly but competitive. The cast held their own with the buzz of the crowd with the storyline being laid outand the clues giving an insight into a good whodunit. My wife and I enjoyed it thoroughly. RED letter should hold their heads up high

One night memorable break
With a range of locations and hotels to chose from, we opted for the Talbot Hotel in the lovely market town of Ledbury. The Talbot like many of the building in the town is a picturesque timber framed building bursting witj character. Our room was a good size and very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we stepped through the door. Would definitely recommend this for an overnight break.

Break in York - of an unexpected kind.
Sadly, on out first day there, my husband Peter suffered a fall in the street and broke his femur, so he has spent his entire 'break'' in York Hospital. I stayed in the hotel myself though, City Guest House, and I can't praise them enough. Wellcoming, considerate, great food, spotlessly clean, perfect location. Really looked after me! I would come back here anytime. In fact we will once my husband is up and running again. X
